For two days now, Kolya has been climbing the wall! How absolutely exciting! Yes. Brother, of course is cheering from below.

Characters for a Monsters Book

I drew these sometime in 2009 I believe, as a pitch to illustrate a children's book of monsters. It was such an exciting opportunity, unfortunately, I didn't get it, but I still really am quite drawn to these two. I found them today in one of my archives and am thinking that I ought to rethink doing a children's book.

It was a really difficult and exciting transition to have a child for the first time. Some of the fears and frustrations are somewhat reflected here. Today, I find them quite beautiful.

Sunshine Playlist 2

I was incredibly happy when the folks from EMI asked me to do a second cover for their second album entitled Sunshine Playlist 2. It was a lovely smooth job once again. Sunny and fun.
