The KPM cds have arrived!

The lovely folks at KPM Music, who are a branch of the EMI, asked me to create this playful cover illustration for their current Indie Music Compilation, other known as: The Sunshine Playlist.
The cd is to be circulated within the media industries, and is unfortunately not available for general release.

Muffins

An idea came to mind to make a cookbook together with some folks from 2 and 4. Perhaps this book will one day see the day of light, perhaps this project will transform into some other medium and dimension, for now, there is this plate of muffins. I'm very fond of it and in some ways this is a great triumph for my super slow, but steady transition into colour.

Another transformation.

This is quite a time consuming experience, but I have to admit, I like the result alot. Its a complete different outlook on life.

Lets colour!

I have been putting this off for a few years, and now I am finally coming to the natural conclusion that I want to see what my work would be like in colour. So I have started to try it out with old work.
I seem to be into the colours of the baroque era- the clashing baby blues and purples alongside pinks and yellows. there is something innocent and erotic within this gamut.

Gomorra

An interesting insight into the world behind the book Gomorra, written by Roberto Saviano. The author dares to reveal the infrastructure and intimate dealings of the Nepal's notorious Camorra gangs. After selling more than 600, 000 copies, he is now living in hiding under police protection.

This was done during the awful invasion on Tibet enforced by the Chinese.
Unfortunately the story didn't go to print, but the image remains.
